  1. Gut a piece of hara keke (flax)
  • Split the leaf down the middle until the hard stalk.
  • Split each half into three even stirps.
  • Take the one outside strip fold it .
  • When You finish 
  • Weaving all the stirps tumthe  weaving 90 
    And begin weaving
    Again. 
    1. Keep timing and weaving until you have only short strips left.
  • The pattem will be a square.
  • Thread the stirps through to the back.

    Hold onto the front woven piece 
    And turn it make a spiral.

    We were happy with the shape 
    The potipoti tie the strips at the back in a not strips tie knot.
